Tell Congress to protect old growth!

On November 22 and December 13, 2007 the "Northwest Old Growth Legacy Campaign" ran a full-page, color ad in the Eugene Weekly.

In the ad, we urge Congress to preserve old-growth forests by protecting trees over 100 years of age. Most of us agree that century old trees deserve protection from logging.

If you didn't see the ad in the paper, click on the image to the right to see a bigger version.  After you look at the ad, call your senator or representative. Since this ad ran in a Eugene paper, it focuses on Representative Peter DeFazio, but you can call the representative from your district too. DeFazio's Eugene office number is (541) 465-6732. Call him and tell him that trees over 100 years old need protection!
